Breaking Dawn Is Breaking Records

The latest installment of the Twilight movie series is breaking box office records. Currently the film has surpassed the 500 million dollar mark after only 12 days. This is of course a worldwide number. Breaking Dawn is the fourth installment of the popular Twilight series, which are based on the novels by Stephanie Meyer. Just under half of the amount, $223 million, came from a strong Thanksgiving weekend in the United States.

Summit entertainment reported that they are very pleased with the continued success of the film Breaking Dawn part one chronicles the interaction of Bella Swan and Edward Cullen as the couple enters their honeymoon. During the film their wedding and honeymoon are impacted by a pregnancy that threatens the life of Bella.

Clearly the Twilight Saga is showing no sign of slowing down. Although there have been other characters and films played by the Twilight stars, we can expect continued Twilight movies and success in the near future.

The second part of the saga is expected for release in 2012. Unfortunately, this is set to conclude the Twilight saga, but we have our fingers crossed that there will be more films on the way. We certainly hope that Edward and Bella are around for a long time to come.

Xavier Samuel - The next Twilight Star

You heard it on BuyingTwilight first. The new Twilight heartthrob will be the Australian actor Xavier Samuel who is set to play “Riley,” a newborn vampire, in Eclipse. At age 26, Xavier is a graduate of Flinders University Drama Centre program in Adelaide, where he took on Hamlet as his graduate performance. He has been recently crowned as the “hot” vampire in the insanely popular Twilight movie franchise, making his debut in its 3rd installment, Eclipse, due out this summer. Rumor has it that Xavier beat out Channing Tatum and Tom Felton of Harry Potter fame.

Cast Of Twilight Coming To Oprah

There are a couple of items coming up worth marking your calendars for! You have got a couple of things to start looking forward to on May 13 – a Twilight event connected with Oprah and Robert Pattinson’s 24th birthday! Rob, Kristen and Taylor will be all set to show up on “Oprah” together with Dakota Fanning and the additional huge ‘Twilight’ superstars.

Oprah Winfrey exposed on Friday that the superstars of “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” are going to be heading to Chicago next month to tape a much anticipated episode of her show. The statement came at the conclusion of her interview with “Twilight” celebrity Dakota Fanning, via skype. “Dakota, we’ll see you in Chicago on Thursday night, May 13,” Winfrey said. “We’ll have all the other huge ‘Twilight’ stars right here too. Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner all will certainly be right here. Tune in to get a ‘Twilight’ show.” Pattinson did not advertise the franchise’s preceding film, “The Twilight Saga: New Moon,” in Chicago, but he did show up at the Orland Square Mall in Orland Park, Illinois. right ahead of the original “Twilight” came out. “Eclipse,” the 3rd movie within the collection, bites theaters June 30th.

Meet Robert Pattinson

Several fans and visitors to Buying Twilight have asked for ways to meet Robert Pattinson. As you might imagine, it may be difficult to meet him in person, but here are a few tips that can increase your chances of meeting Robert.

One method is to get into the movie business. Keep in mind that there are many other people responsible for making a movie than just the actors and actresses. For example, working in makeup or sound production may be ways to get close to the cast of the movie.

However, this is a long term plan and will take quite a bit of work to accomplish. For more short term ways to meet Robert Pattinson and the rest of the Twilight staff, perhaps you can place yourself in the right place at the right time. We know that the majority of the filming is taking place in Vancouver. Also, you may want to pursue becoming an extra for the films. Although it is too late to sign on as an extra for the New Moon movie, this may be something you can pursue for the Eclipse movie.

The most popular way to meet Robert Pattinson is to show up at one of the many shopping malls the cast has planned to help to promote the Twilight movie. Many of these will occur as the release of the New Moon movie is closer to release. Although he has met many people this way, the crowds that show up to these promotions are typically way out of hand.
